Where the words
aren't working.

About

Ryan Mancuso
Founder, Vantage

I spent my time in the military explaining things to audiences that didn't know they needed to understand them. Not just to people in uniform but to the public, and to communities near a flight line that just wanted their windows to stop rattling. My job was to close the distance between inside and outside the fence, and project the right message to every other onlooker.

That's still my job.

Most businesses aren't hard to understand. But when a passionate founder starts explaining their own business, eyes glaze over. Every detail, every decision, every reason something works the way it does all passes directly to the customer. Only it stops making sense, and the customer can't carry forward the experience that founder intended to give.

I started Vantage because I kept meeting people like that. Talented, serious, and doing real work but losing ground to competitors who were louder, not better or more passionate.

I'll never know your business better than you do but I do know how to translate it. I'm here to make your customer look good for choosing you.

When you work with Vantage, you work with me start to finish. Nothing gets lost between the vision and the words.

If you're reading this and something just clicked, if there's a thread you can feel but can't quite grasp, that's where we start.

How We Work

The Three Lenses

I

A Clear Objective

The victorious party has an objective clear enough to make decisions from. "Grow my business" is not an objective. Discovery doesn't end until the client can name a specific, owned goal.

II

The Ability to Adapt

Strategy that cannot flex to new information is not strategy. Clients who diagnose honestly and adjust are coachable. Fixed assumptions without new data are a yellow flag.

III

The Will to Execute

Brilliant strategy executed halfheartedly loses to mediocre strategy executed with conviction. In discovery, we listen for the personal reason the business exists. That's where authentic voice hides.

"I don't know your business better than you do.
I know how to translate it."
